atea Composite comprises state of the art manufacturing facilities in China, Germany and Malaysia.
These workshops are managed by individually appointed Factory Managers with German craftsmen supervising all work performed. The workflow in our workshops is very systematic with traceable records.
The Factory Managers together with QA/QC personnel ensure that the produced products meet the expected quality and standards.
Tairi Workshop, China
The Workshop facility has existed since 2004 and it is conveniently situated in Tairi, near both the Shanghai city center and the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park.
In 2009 the workshop was expanded and consists today of 7,000 m2 production area and 600 m2 office area.
The production area has various lamination and winding machines for items with diameters up to 5 meters. The maximum weight of items handled is 20 tonnes and the maximum length is 9 meters. Products are mainly manufactured according to DIN standards, but also other standards are available upon request.
The allocated staff at this workshop consists of one German master craftsman (for plastic and FRP), 10 engineers (both German and Local), 10 plastic fitters (most with DVS certificate), 24 plastic welders (trained according to DVS) and in total more than 40 general workers.

Kulim Workshop, Malaysia
The Workshop facility has existed since 2004 and is conveniently located in Kulim high-tech Park, close to George Town, Penang and the Penang International Airport.
It consists of 2,600 m2 covered production area and 200 m2 office area.
The facility comprises various winding and lamination machines for items with diameters up to 6 meters. The maximum weight of items handled is 20 tonnes and the maximum length is 12 meters. The standard used is DIN, but others can also be provided if specified.
The main material used for production is thermoplastics and FRP (Fiber Re-enforced Plastic), but we do also manufacture high grade fluoro-plastic liner applications here.
The staff allocated here consists of one German master craftsman for plastic and FRP, overlooking the production, 5 engineers (German and local), 10 plastic fitters (mainly with DVS certificate) and more than 15 general workers.

Ransbach-Baumbach Workshop, Germany
The workshop facility has existed since 2002 and is conveniently situated in between two major cities; Frankfurt and Cologne in Germany.
It consists of 5,000m2 production area and 100m2 office area.
The facility includes a complete plastic welding workshop for all kinds of plastics and dual laminate.
A full set of winding and lamination machinery is also available.
The team consists of 25 employees including 7 master craftsmen (for plastic and FRP), and 15 plastic fitters (partially with DVS certificates).
