Electrical Design Engineer |

systems and wastewater treatmentsystems. The firm provides project definition and preliminary design, detailed
engineering and construction, plant commissioning and start-up, operations and project management.
ATEA is offering a challenging and rewarding career opportunity for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to
join their growing team. Reporting to the Engineering Manager (EM) the position is based in Shanghai, however,
frequent domestic and international travel to meet project needs may be necessary.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and program control systems for various process applications. Experience in high end Siemens, Allen
Bradley, GE and Schneider PLC is required. Applications would include process industries including power, high
temperature exhaust, chemical and industrial wastewater facilities.
2. Design and develop Touch Panel and SCADA screens Such as WinCC, Ifix, Citect, and RSView.
3. Working knowledge of electrical and control devices
4. Able to read Process and Instrumentation drawings and develop I/O lists and PLC architecture.
5. To work as leader PLC programming engineer on projects and should be capable of independently handling
engineering responsibilities;
6. Use of standards, ladder logic, functional blocks codes, STL languages applicable to the design and installation of
PLC systems.
7. Co-ordinate all design and development work in connection with new projects and modifications to existing
installations and provide advice during construction/equipment, commissioning and start-up and ensure compliance
with design;
8. Provide professional advice in the selection of PLC systems for new projects and replacement in existing installation;
9. Production of documentation and packages for procurement;
10. Discipline check of designs and documentation;
11. Experience in HAZOP / HAZAN reviews;
Requirements:
1. At least be familiar with one electrical CAD software (Such as Eplan , Etc )
2. Programming and commissioning experience for Boiler or burner system
3. Experience for Safety PLC
4. Require minimum 5 years relevant working experience in a project environment;
5. Bachelors degree or higher in electrical engineering, control and instrumentation engineering with special PLC training course or similar background;
6. Good knowledge of international codes, standards and regulations;
7. Good written and spoken English.
