Composite Production Engineer |
|
The CPE is responsible for the production process of Fiber-Reinforced-Plastic (FRP) equipment. As a link between the engineering department and workshop department the main tasks are characterized as follows
1. Work preparation before production start
- Schedule winding machine utilization and sequence workflow
- Prepare auxiliary tools and forms for filament winding processes
- Check raw material properties before production start
- Confirm and discuss construction drawings with engineering department
- Confirm and discuss lamination map
2. Supervision and monitoring production
- Prepare resin mix and mixing instruction individually for each equipment
- Monitoring and mapping of Lamination sequences
- Determination and analyzing of material properties (calcinations, Determination of tensile strength, etc)
3. Support Quality Control department
- Perform material property tests of composite structures
- Prepare test protocols
4. Research and Development in composite structures with implementation of an in-house testing facility

Requirements:
1. University degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related
2. Strong knowledge in the field of composite apparatus engineering
3. Familiar with composite engineering codes such as BS4994, ASME RTP-1, DIN EN 13121
4. Knowledge in Quality control requirements
5. Knowledge in material testing
6. Fluent in English, both oral and written
7. Creative thinking ability
8. Strong analytical and problem solving skills
9. Good communication skill
10. Teamwork abilities
